I have just seen John Martz’s photos from his recent Red Sea liveaboard trip. Anybody interested in digital underwater photography could pick up a tip or two from John. The photos are of a very high standard and show what can be achieved from very affordable digital cameras and housings.

Hi everybody, just though i’d send a couple of photograph’s from recent diving trips.

Congratulations to Natalie Alcock and Jon Terry (back row) at passing the PADI Open Water Diver Course on Sunday 3rd September. Aaron Barker (front row) was awarded the PADI Dry Suit Specialty. Well done also to Don Quilliam and Andy Bennett at achieving the PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty.

All in all a good weekend’s diving with appearances from several club members keen enought to endure the heavy rain all day Saturday (Wyn, David, Gaz and Jason)

We have all come back to real life with a bump after the recent Red Sea trip. A truly amazing week taking in the northern wrecks and then Brother’s Islands and Elphinstone reef. Not many sharks about this time but we were more than compensated by close encounters with giant turltes and a very rare dugong.

We were pleased to hear that Gaz Brown has just passed his Divemasters course in Sharm. Well done also to Jed Seddon who passed the Open Water Scuba Instructor course yesterday. Are you looking forward to the January Open Water course guys?
